I can't tell if it's because i'm ovulating or what, but this happens every few months for the last couple years. Those random cramps could even be an early sign of pregnancy.

It might be: uterine fibroids. It might be: uterine fibroids. But lately, (beginning August when my period was about 2 weeks late) I got REALLY bad cramps on the first day of my period and they hurt so much.
