Posted in Peripherals, By Hello! I am Running Ultra Shaders and a 512 Texture pack but 60 FPS is unnaceptable for a 9 year old game when I get 100 FPS on Ultra in new AAA Games. GTX 1080 Low FPS I just installed a STRIX-GTX1080-O8G-GAMING and I'm getting the same, if not lower FPS than I was with my GTX 960. Like 30-50 My 980 - 4 Gb card was getting better frames than that. Overclocked tests soon. GTX 1080 for 1080p is overkill, the card is made for 1440p and 4k. It features the new 16 nm (down from 28 nm) Pascal architecture. 110-130 FPS at all times, no drops . The 1080 isn't "overkill" for 1080p, and this kind of statement needs to die.
